The Louvre is one of the most famous museums in the world, and its popularity is evident at midday when the line to buy tickets snakes all the way around the square. Children are enthralled by Mona Lisa as soon as they enter; other paintings are incomprehensible to them, but sculptures are a different story: they recognize all sorts of Greek gods and goddesses (Zeus, Athena, Aphrodite, Eros...). They tell me excitedly about their stories, which they learned from books about magic. When we enter the Royal Jewels room, we're both dazzled by its luxury.

The most anticipated part of our Paris trip is the Louvre! In addition to its art collection, this building itself is also a great masterpiece, witnessing nearly a thousand years of French history. The three treasures of the Louvre: the Statue of Victory, the Mona Lisa and the Venus Brokeback are all easy to find, and there are obvious signs on the way in. When I walked through the corridor and turned around to see the Victory Statue at the top of the steps, I was really stunned! The Daru staircase in the Louvre provides an unparalleled display setting for the Statue of Victory, and when the weather is good, light can be sprinkled on the stone statue through the top window.
