For first-time visitors to Los Angeles, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is definitely one of the must-visit attractions where you can find the star-shaped traces of your favorite idols.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame was established in 1958. It's a sidewalk stretching along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in the United States, on which there are over 2000 star-shaped plaques with the names of Hollywood celebrities.
Each star-shaped plaque is made of terrazzo: a pink five-pointed star is embedded in bronze, which is then set into a dark gray square terrazzo. Inside the pink star is the name of the award recipient in bronze, and underneath is a round emblem representing the field in which the star recipient has been awarded.
